Our mission is to support individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis—whether they've had police contact or reached out through national or local crisis lines—by meeting them where they are, both physically and emotionally. As a Mobile Crisis Responder, you’ll help reduce unnecessary emergency room visits and incarceration by connecting people to the right resources at the right time.   What You’ll Do Respond in person within one hour or less to behavioral health crisis calls, using a company vehicle when available or a personal vehicle if needed. Conduct comprehensive assessments that include suicide risk evaluations, crisis intervention, and recommendations for the appropriate level of care. Provide follow-up support through service linkage, ongoing monitoring, and crisis management to ensure continuity of care. Offer consultation and information to internal teams and referral sources to facilitate access to services. Collaborate with ReDiscover teams and community partners to develop intervention plans that address and advocate for the individual’s needs. Work closely with other providers to implement and review crisis intervention strategies. Accurately document client interactions and maintain records in ReDiscover’s electronic medical record system.   Requirements of the Position At minimum, a bachelor’s degree in a Social Science Field from an accredited college or university is required. Master’s Degree Preferred. Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a reliable vehicle available for use during work hours is required. Must have a clean driving record. Familiarity with mental illness and substance use disorders. Strong communication and customer service skills. Comfort with electronic health records and intermediate computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and email).   Schedule Requirements Full-time position, consisting of three (3) 12-hour shifts each week, plus one (1) 8-hour shift every other week. Schedule: Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 2:00 PM – 2:30 AM, plus every other Saturday evening 8-hour shift (flexible start and end times).
