Saint Luke's East in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking a Procedural RN for their Endoscopy Center. As a registered nurse on this team, you will circulate for various procedures including but not limited to; bronchoscopies, cardioversions, tilt table tests, TEE tests, upper and lower scopes, colonoscopies, and EGD tests. This nurse position will assist with procedures using moderate and full sedation in both an outpatient and inpatient setting.
This is a patient centered, collaborative team that believes in helping each other learn and grow everyday while using each other's strengths to drive improvement. This is a team that is constantly learning and embracing change in a forward-looking environment. This is a team of RNs and physicians that work together and focuses on best practices and improved outcomes.
The Work:
- Utilizesthe nursing process
- Performspatient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff
- Coordinatesthe plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Demonstratesproficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures
