About the Role
We are seeking a skilled BAS Controls Cabling Foreman to lead low‑voltage cabling efforts on mission‑critical data center projects. This position is ideal for a hands‑on leader who brings technical expertise, field coordination experience, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) installations.
What You'll Do
- Lead and supervise onsite crews performing BAS and EPMS cabling work on active data center projects.
- Plan and coordinate daily field activities including cable routing, pulls, dressing, labeling, and documentation.
- Perform or oversee copper and fiber terminations, conduit installation (EMT, rigid, flexible), and device installation.
- Read and interpret MEP drawings, one‑lines, network diagrams, risers, and controls schematics.
- Conduct cable testing, troubleshooting, continuity checks, and certifying cable performance.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, electricians, and other trades to ensure workflow alignment.
- Maintain jobsite safety, quality control, and compliance with OSHA and NEC standards.
- Track progress, materials, and manpower; communicate updates to project leadership.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
- Experience in active/operational data centers.
- Knowledge of TIA/EIA standards, NEC, and BICSI practices.
- Experience supporting commissioning teams or controls vendors.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Active construction and mission‑critical environments.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- May require nights/weekends depending on project needs.
