Full-Time Summer Support Teacher

Primrose School of Leesburg at Potomac Station
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Primrose Preschool is seeking a reliable, energetic, and caring Full-Time Summer Support Teacher to join our team for the summer season. This role supports classrooms across multiple age groups and helps create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children.

Responsibilities

Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities and routines
Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play
Support mealtimes, nap times, and transitions throughout the day
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
Engage children in educational and age-appropriate activities
Provide positive guidance and encouragement to students
Help ensure all licensing and safety procedures are followed
Communicate professionally with staff and families as needed

Qualifications

Experience working with young children preferred
Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
Dependable, punctual, and flexible
Ability to actively engage with children throughout the day
Must pass required background checks and meet state childcare requirements

Schedule

Full-time summer position
Monday through Friday
8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
