CORMAC is seeking an experienced and strategic HR Operations Manager to lead all aspects of human resources in a fully remote environment. This role is responsible for developing and executing people strategies that support business objectives, strengthen employee engagement, and ensure compliance across a distributed workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
- Support current and future business needs through effective workforce planning, employee engagement, development, and retention
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
- Foster and maintain a positive, inclusive, and compliant work environment
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
- Oversee benefits programs and enrollment
- Support recruiting and hiring processes
- Oversee onboarding to ensure timely completion of HR forms and required trainings
- Support managers with evaluations, feedback, and improvement plans
- Provide HR data and reporting to leadership for decision‑making
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices
- Participate in HR administrational tasks, functions and responsibilities on a daily basis or as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
- 3-5 years of proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR ExecutiveÂ
- Experience working, engaging, and managing employees in remote environments
- Ability to balance a peoplecentric approach with measurable business outcomes
- Ability to develop strategic HR initiatives while providing hands-on leadership
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- Knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
Preferred Requirements:
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, aPHR, or similar professional Human Resources certification
