This role involves providing support, guidance, and resources to clients, empowering them to achieve personal growth and wellness. The specialist will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for each client. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement individualized recovery plans tailored to the unique needs of each client. - Facilitate group sessions and workshops that promote mental health awareness and recovery strategies. - Provide one-on-one support and counseling to clients, helping them navigate challenges and set achievable goals. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure continuity of services. - Monitor client progress and adjust recovery plans as necessary to meet evolving needs and objectives. - Advocate for clients' needs within the community and connect them with appropriate resources and services. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress. - Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in mental health recovery. QualificationsRequired Education: - High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Required Experience: - Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a mental health or behavioral health setting. - Experience in case management or recovery support services. - Proven track record of working with individuals with mental health disorders and substance abuse issues. Required Skills and Abilities: - Strong understanding of recovery-oriented practices and mental health support systems. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. - Ability to develop and implement individualized recovery plans. - Proficient in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. - Knowledge of community resources and ability to coordinate services for clients. - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. - Sensitivity to cultural and socioeconomic issues impacting clients' recovery processes.
