Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Tablet Documentation in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will use computer or tablet systems as needed, communicate clearly, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a critical infrastructure location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, exterior areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Prepare clear, accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
