Sunrun is seeking a Head of Digital Marketing to lead our digital growth strategy across paid media, SEO, lifecycle marketing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and attribution. This role will be accountable for driving measurable business impact through data-driven decision-making, cross-functional leadership, and continuous optimization. The ideal candidate brings a strong owner mentality, can influence at all levels, and is equally comfortable setting strategy and diving into execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and lead Sunrun’s digital marketing strategy across paid media, SEO, lifecycle marketing, CRO, and attribution.

  • Drive customer acquisition, engagement, and conversion performance through disciplined testing, experimentation, and optimization.

  • Establish and manage performance measurement frameworks, attribution models, and reporting to clearly demonstrate ROI.

  • Translate complex performance data into actionable insights and recommendations for senior leadership.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Analytics, Creative, Technology, Sales, and Operations to align digital initiatives with business objectives.

  • Take full accountability for digital performance, results, and outcomes; proactively adjust strategy to meet or exceed targets.

  • Balance long-term strategic planning with hands-on execution when needed to accelerate results.

  • Collaborating with sales leadership to optimize conversion.

  • Manage a marketing budget of 40+ million dollars.

  • Work closely with paid media partners.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing digital marketing team 

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, or growth roles, with progressive leadership responsibility.

  • 5+ years managing and developing high-performing teams and/or agencies.

  • Deep expertise in paid media, SEO, lifecycle marketing, CRO, and attribution.

  • Highly analytical and data-driven, with strong problem-solving skills and experience leveraging data to drive decisions.

  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.

  • Strong owner mentality with demonstrated accountability for performance and results.

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:

$131,796.00 to $175,728.00
