WHAT YOU’LL DO
Seakeeper is the global leader in marine stabilization, on a mission to transform the way people experience life on the water – and keeping Seakeeper itself running smoothly is one very busy NetSuite environment. Order-to-cash, procurement, inventory and BOMs, manufacturing and MRP, warranty, quality, financials, HRIS, our dealer-facing commerce site – practically nothing at Seakeeper happens without touching NetSuite in some way. As our Sr. NetSuite Administrator & Architect, you'll own both sides of it: the hands-on administration (security, configuration, data integrity, releases) and the design authority over where it goes next. The business identifies what's needed, and you decide how the platform delivers it – accountable for keeping it stable, well-documented, and built to scale as we grow. You won't be one admin among several, and you won't spend your day buried in a ticket queue. You'll have real autonomy over how our ERP platform is designed and run, and real accountability for making sure that work outlasts any one person. You'll make an immediate impact by:Â
Â
Platform Architecture & RoadmapÂ
- Owning the NetSuite architecture end to end — the module landscape, the data model, custom record design, and how it all fits together as we growÂ
- Owning the multi-year technical roadmap alongside our product owner: what we adopt, what we retire, what we buildÂ
- Leading every "how should this be built" call — configuration vs. customization, module choice, integration pattern — documented before anyone writes a line of codeÂ
- Holding the line on configure-before-customize; every customization is a future upgrade cost that needs a reason that survives reviewÂ
- Setting the technical standards our NetSuite contractors and integration vendors build to, and reviewing what they deliverÂ
Integration & API ManagementÂ
- Defining the integration architecture around NetSuite — the patterns, contracts, and standards every connected system is held to, from warehouse platforms to payment processors to customer-facing appsÂ
- Owning the NetSuite side of every integration: endpoints, RESTlets, SuiteTalk, authentication, field mappings, error handlingÂ
- Governing API access — who connects, with what credentials, under what rate and volume expectations — and build the monitoring that catches failures before the business doesÂ
Security & User AdministrationÂ
- Designing and maintaining roles, permissions, and segregation of duties across the platformÂ
- Maintaining restricted access to sensitive financial and employee data, and auditing access on a defined cycleÂ
- Holding admin-level access as one of a small, trusted few — and govern who else gets itÂ
System Configuration & EnhancementÂ
- Configuring forms, fields, records, workflows, and approval routingsÂ
- Enabling and maintaining modules across finance, inventory, manufacturing, quality, warranty, HRIS, CRM, and commerceÂ
- Automating manual work with native functionality first — script is the last resort, not the first instinctÂ
Release & Change ManagementÂ
- Testing NetSuite's semiannual releases against our critical processes and coordinate the schedule with Oracle ACSÂ
- Owning the production gate: nothing deploys without documented requirements, a test script, and business sign-off.Â
- Running impact analysis before every release, and validate every customization and integration afterÂ
Platform Health, Performance & RecoverabilityÂ
- Monitoring script efficiency, governance limits, and response times — and plan ahead for growth in volume and storageÂ
- Owning our data backup and export strategy: SaaS doesn't protect you from a bad mass update, and we need a tested way backÂ
- Creating documented recovery procedures — what we restore, how, and how fastÂ
Data Integrity & AutomationÂ
- Maintaining master data integrity across items, BOMs, customers, vendors, and employeesÂ
- Designing and driving automation of high-volume, repetitive data work so the team handles exceptions instead of drowning in volumeÂ
- Supporting data migration during acquisitions and system implementationsÂ
Reporting & AnalyticsÂ
- Building and maintaining the saved searches, dashboards, and KPIs most of the company uses to see what's actually happening — day in, day outÂ
- Supporting SuiteAnalytics and our Power BI reporting layerÂ
Business Partnership & SupportÂ
- Spotting efficiency opportunities across finance, ops, sales, manufacturing, and HR, and turn them into real system improvementsÂ
- Serving as the primary liaison to Oracle ACS and NetSuite Support — the case queue, the relationship, the development-hours budget, all of itÂ
Documentation & Knowledge SharingÂ
- Documenting every configuration decision, customization, and integration you own — including the reasoning behind itÂ
- Cross-training teammates deliberately, ensuring documentation isn't an afterthought Â

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

- 5+ years administering NetSuite in a production environment, including 2+ as the senior or lead administratorÂ
- Manufacturing or physical-product environment experience — BOMs, MRP, work orders, warrantyÂ
- Demonstrated ownership of the NetSuite security model — role design, permissions, segregation of duties, sensitive-data accessÂ
- Experience running NetSuite release cycles and sandbox-to-production change managementÂ
- Ability to read and evaluate SuiteScript and workflows — you don't have to be the primary developer, but you have to be able to judge what others buildÂ
- Hands-on experience integrating NetSuite with other business systems, including the API surface (SuiteTalk, RESTlets), authentication, and monitoringÂ
- Experience protecting a business-critical SaaS platform: backup strategy, version control, documented recoveryÂ
- A track record of working directly with finance, operations, and manufacturing stakeholders and translating what they need into system designÂ
- Proven hands-on experience across NetSuite configuration, role and permission design, at least one of manufacturing/inventory/order-to-cash at scale, saved searches and dashboards, master data management, sandbox strategy, integration platforms, API governance, and performance managementÂ
NICE-TO-HAVESÂ
- NetSuite certification — SuiteFoundation, Certified Administrator, ERP Consultant, or SuiteAnalyticsÂ
- SuiteCommerce Advanced or dealer/partner portal exposureÂ
- Experience managing an Oracle ACS relationship or equivalent managed-services engagementÂ
- Exposure to a CRM or HCM implementation running alongside NetSuiteÂ

WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT HERE
It’s true that we make extraordinary products, but our favorite part about Seakeeper is our people! We believe in participative leadership. Great ideas can strike at any moment, and when you have one, you’re empowered to speak up!Â
Â
We are constantly pushing (or crushing) boundaries. Stagnant or bored are about as opposite from Seakeeper as you can get! We move quickly and if there is something that can be improved upon, we jump on it. Â
Â
WHO WE ARE
71% of our Earth is covered by water and we want everyone to make the most of it. That’s why we are committed to creating products that transform the boating experience with an organization that employees want to work for, customers want to buy from, and vendors want to partner with. Seakeeper Ride, a Vessel Attitude Control System, eliminates underway pitch and roll, making time on the water safer and more comfortable for everyone on board.Â
 Â
Seakeeper was founded in 2008, growing from a start-up operation to the worldwide leader in stabilization thanks to its popular line of gyrostabilizers. Seakeeper Ride launched in 2022 and is the first product deviation from that line, bringing the magic of Seakeeper to boats while underway. There’s a long runway of growth ahead as more and more OEMs adopt Seakeeper Ride as standard equipment and we work to make aftermarket refits a reality.Â
Ready for a new challenge in a fast-paced environment? Want to help us disrupt an industry? Come on and apply, we are ready for you!Â
