We are seeking a Occupational Therapist to join our team at AdvisaCare!In this role, you will work directly with clients to evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans that promote independence, restore functional abilities, and enhance overall quality of life. Occupational Therapists (OTs) will complete comprehensive evaluations, establish goals of care, and oversee all therapy services in alignment with best practices and patient needs.

You will educate patients and families on adaptive techniques, safety strategies, and functional skill development while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans developed by the licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Conduct occupational exercises and activities with clients, focusing on improving independence, finctional abilities, and quality.
  • Assess and document clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers, providing support and answering questions.
  • Adhere to all relevant legal, ethical, and professional standards.
  • Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist program.
  • Current licensure as a Occupational Therapist in the state of Michigan.
  • CPR certification.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules.
