SchoolHouse Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dedicated High School Social Worker to join one of our partnering school districts in the Chicago area. This full-time contract opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact by supporting students' social, emotional, behavioral, and academic success in a collaborative school environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling services to students.
• Conduct social-emotional and behavioral assessments.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, psychologists, counselors, and families to support student success.
• Participate in IEP, 504, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
• Connect students and families with community resources and support services.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all district, state, and federal regulations.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement.
• Previous school-based experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Passion for supporting student well-being and academic success.

Compensation & Benefits

• $45–$55 per hour, based on experience.
