JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Clark Scholars Program (CSP) is accepting applications for tutor positions. Current Penn State sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students who have earned at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA and a B+ or higher in requested subjects (including but not limited to) Chemistry 110, Biology 110, Math 140, Physics 211 and many other STEM classes are welcomed to apply. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, upholding University and CSP policies and procedures, conducting individual/small group tutoring sessions, completing tutor reports and attending trainings. Applicants should be prepared to work approximately 5-10 hours per week; hours may vary and include evenings and/or weekends.

Applicants who are not Clark Scholars must also submit contact information for one reference familiar with your knowledge in the subject area and/or tutoring background. Applications will be accepted and reviewed on an ongoing basis.
