The role you’ll contribute:
The OR Instrument Room Tech is responsible for the decontamination, assembly and sterilization of surgical instrumentation for the main or, labor and delivery, C-section and all of our offsite clinics. Cleaning and distribution of Patient Care equipment, obtaining and tracking of rental equipment, cleaning and sterilization of all vendor instruments. Communicating with the OR staff to help with instrument turnovers, conflicts etc. Assists the OR staff with patient positioning and transporting.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Assembles and accurately arranges instrument trays.
Sterilizes instruments following established protocols.
Returns sterile instruments to their designated locations.
Stocks and maintains patient care equipment.
Manages the decontamination process for surgical instruments.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
High School Grad or Equiv Required
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) obtained through the American Heart Association Required
HSPA Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) or other CIS certification Required
