The Staff Pad is proud to partner with afamily-owned distributor of low-voltage electronics to hire a dependable andexperienced Warehouse Associate for logistics and sales support at theirLenexa, KS location

The primary responsibility of this role is toconsistently maintain and exceed the company’s customer service standards whilepromptly communicating any service variances to Branch Management

Schedule: Full-Time | Non-Exempt

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers while upholding company standards
  • Maintain showroom and warehouse standards in accordance with company safety and appearance guidelines
  • Complete required regulatory training, including Hazmat and forklift training
  • Maintain clear communication with Branch and Corporate Management regarding outcomes, discrepancies, safety concerns, and potential issues

Shipping Responsibilities

  • Prepare and organize will-call and shipping orders, ensuring will-call orders are properly stored
  • Verify all orders for accuracy and quality control
  • Package products efficiently to minimize costs and prevent damage
  • Accurately enter shipping information into the shipping system according to established guidelines

Receiving Responsibilities

  • Receive products from carriers and verify quantities for accuracy
  • Inspect products for visible damage and quality
  • Accurately enter products into the ERP system following company guidelines
  • Properly stock products in the warehouse and/or showroom using the product master list
  • Rotate products to maintain proper inventory flow
  • Follow established guidelines for non-stock items

Stocking Responsibilities

  • Restock showroom shelves and displays daily while ensuring products are clean and presentable
  • Front and face products on shelves for a neat, organized appearance
  • Rearrange products to accommodate new items and additional SKUs in the showroom and warehouse
  • Ensure products and bin boxes are clearly labeled
  • Use company inventory lists to ensure accurate merchandise placement

Merchandising & General Housekeeping

  • Follow product placement guidelines and collaborate with Operations and Marketing to maintain consistent showroom appearance and messaging
  • Maintain a clean, presentable showroom and keep the area free of hazards
  • Keep warehouse floors clean and free of debris while maintaining an organized shipping area

Additional Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, packaging equipment, and related machinery as applicable
  • Use standard office equipment including computers, phones, and copiers
  • Utilize ERP, HCM, and Microsoft Office systems
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Physical Demands

  • Perform physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting
  • Safely handle and move materials weighing up to 70 pounds
  • Maintain the physical and visual abilities required to perform job duties

What We Are Looking For

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of warehouse experience preferred
  • Knowledge of low-voltage products preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
