Job DetailsLevel: EntryJob Location: Cope Plastics Inc Lenexa - Lenexa, KS 66219Salary Range: $21.97 HourlyPOSITION SUMMARY: Performs the duties required to receive, store and distribute plastic products   FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB Essential Functions: Unloads and receives incoming freight using forklift or hand truck Moves material to the established storage areas physically and electronically Pulls, packages and prepares materials for customers, fabrication and branches Helps maintain an accurate inventory and reports all material breakage immediately to supervisor Inspect forklifts at the beginning of each shift using a forklift inspection report and reports any damage to supervisor immediately Marginal Functions: Performs the duties required to contribute to the success of the Cope Team   Physical/Visual Activities or Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, stand, hear and use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms The employee must exert up to 60 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects Specific vision abilities required by this job include clarity of vision at 20 feet or more as well as 20 inches or less   Environmental/Atmospheric Conditions: Exposure to a warehouse environment on a regular basis QualificationsEducation: Requires a high school education or GED   Experience: Requires previous warehouse or industrial experience is preferred   Requirements Must maintain and safeguard the confidential information of the company Must comply with company policies and procedures Must maintain a clean work environment following all safety procedures and regulations   Skills and Abilities: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions Ability to read and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Ability to effectively work and interact with others Ability to use strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills Ability to multi-task and manage time well Ability to be well organized and prioritize successfully Ability to pay close attention to the specifics and details of the work Ability to deal with internal and external customers in a courteous and professional manner   Machines, Tools, Equipment and Work Aids: Measuring devices and vacuum lifter, forklift, packaging equipment   License(s)/Certification(s) Required: Forklift License
