As Chef de Cuisine, you will lead the daily culinary operations with vision, creativity, and operational excellence. You are responsible for driving an exceptional dining experience through innovative, seasonal menus that reflect our brand pillars and commitment to quality. This role oversees kitchen leadership, colleague development, guest satisfaction, and financial performance while maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and safety. The Chef de Cuisine serves as both a strategic leader and hands-on mentor, cultivating a culture of collaboration, accountability, and pride in craft. You will inspire your team, elevate culinary execution, and ensure every dish reflects our dedication to excellence and guest well-being.
Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A CR COLLEAGUE
Lead, recruit, interview, and develop culinary team members to build a strong and collaborative kitchen culture
Coach and manage performance through clear expectations, accountability, and ongoing feedback
Create effective schedules that ensure proper coverage while managing labor within budget guidelines
Oversee payroll and timekeeping systems with accuracy and integrity
Champion exceptional guest satisfaction by maintaining strong customer relations and taking immediate action to resolve concerns
Empower colleagues to enhance the guest dining experience and uphold brand standards at every touchpoint
Facilitate the creation and evolution of seasonal menus, specials, and event offerings aligned with brand pillars
Ensure menus are supported by approved recipes, accurate market lists, station mapping, and strong culinary fundamentals
Maintain consistent quality, presentation, and execution in an environment of excellence
Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all culinary work areas
Ensure safe and proper use of equipment and reinforce health, safety, and fire procedures
Foster a culture of professionalism, pride, and continuous development within the culinary team
Mentor and develop future culinary leaders through positive leadership and example
Qualifications
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
3-5 years leadership experience in a culinary or hospitality environment
Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations
Experience with scheduling, payroll, and labor cost management
Exceptional communication and guest service skills
A collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing others
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-quality hospitality setting
