In this lead position your responsibilities & activities will include:  Safety Leadership & Compliance Promote a strong culture of safety across all departments through leadership, communication, and employee engagement. Lead and facilitate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and safety training sessions in both English and Spanish. Ensure compliance with OSHA and other federal, state, and local safety regulations. Maintain and track OSHA-required documentation, logs, and safety reports. Conduct regular safety inspections of facilities, equipment, and operations to identify hazards and unsafe practices. Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses; recommend and implement corrective actions. Monitor workplace practices to eliminate hazardous activities and reduce the risk of injury. Assist in the development and implementation of safety policies, procedures, and programs. Coordinate safety committees and participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to workplace safety. Track safety performance metrics and communication trends and improvement opportunities to leadership   Employee Safety Training & Communication  Deliver safety training and orientation for new hires and existing employees in English and Spanish. Translate and communicate safety policies, procedures, and training materials for bilingual employees. Act as a resource for employees regarding safety questions, reporting concerns, and compliance requirements. Ensure employees understand safe work practices, proper equipment use, and company safety policies. Partner with supervisors and managers to reinforce safe behaviors and accountability  HR Support (Secondary Responsibilities) Support onboarding activities for new employees, including safety orientation. Assist HR with employee relations questions related to safety policies and procedures. Participate in incident investigations and disciplinary meetings related to safety violations. Works with HR to maintain accurate safety and training records within HRIS or safety management systems. Support company initiatives that promote employee engagement, wellness, and workplace safety. Now, here’s what we need from you: Minimum Education and Experience Required Associate or bachelor’s degree in safety, Occupational Health, Human Resources, or related field preferred. 2–4 years of experience in workplace safety, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance requirements. Experience conducting safety training and workplace safety inspections. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.  Additional Requirements Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written) preferred. Ability to communicate safety procedures clearly to a diverse workforce. Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
