The Mission

As a travelling Carpenter, you’ll take senior-level ownership of high-visibility commercial builds—driving outcomes, protecting schedule, and setting the craftsmanship bar on jobs that move.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and shape complex framing, blocking/backing, doors/hardware, finish work, and temporary works as projects evolve
- Interpret blueprints/specs, execute precise layout, and verify dimensions with lasers/transits (total station preferred)
- Coordinate daily with the superintendent and trades to keep production flowing and conflicts down
- Run tools/equipment safely and efficiently; uphold OSHA and site safety expectations
- Spot constructability issues early and propose practical field solutions
- Mentor carpenters/apprentices and uphold professional jobsite standards

Required qualifications
- 10+ years commercial carpentry experience; able to work independently and lead crews
- Strong layout/measurement skills; high quality, safety, and schedule focus
- OSHA 30 (or obtain immediately), valid driver’s license/clean record; able to travel/overnight

If you’re ready for strategic impact in Commercial Construction and Design Build, apply now.

On the Road, On Point

You roll into a new site ready to make an immediate mark—checking the plan set, aligning with the Foreman/superintendent on priorities, and setting a crisp pace for the crew. Travel and overnights are part of the rhythm, and each stop brings a fresh puzzle: tight tolerances, shifting site conditions, and coordination moments where your judgment keeps momentum alive. Between lifts, layout checks, and punch-list pushes, you’re the steady hand that keeps quality sharp and clients confident. By day’s end, you’ve advanced the build, cleared tomorrow’s constraints, and left the site cleaner, safer, and closer to turnover—classic Commercial Construction, delivered with Design Build intensity.

Total Rewards

Medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k); life insurance and voluntary life insurance; Health Savings Account (HSA); AFLAC cancer, critical illness, and accident coverage; paid time off; employee discounts; pet insurance; competitive total compensation ($30–$50/hour).
