Responsibilities and Duties:

This position is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings of post frame buildings aligning precisely with customer specifications and industry standards. Buildings range from farm, livestock, equine, hobby and commercial purposes.

Preparation of construction drawings, shop orders and bill of materials.
Coordination of scheduling to meet customer, purchasing, manufacturing and construction needs.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates for our open CAD Technician positions will have a degree in Computer Aided Design or Construction-related field, with experience using AutoCAD software.
2-3 years of Drafting or work-related experience.
Experience with Estimating is a plus.
Excellent attention to technical detail and thoroughness is critical.
Strong communication and computer skills.
Must be highly motivated and the ability to work as a team player.

Salary Range:

Hourly salary of $20.00 to $25.00.

The specific compensation offered to a candidate varies by several factors including relevant work experience, education, certifications and internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of this salary range. The employee is eligible for approved overtime and company profit sharing potential.
