Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations in Champaign, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, team-focused environment. Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the property, observe the movement of personnel and vehicles, and follow site procedures for visitor, contractor, and delivery verification.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities according to site policies.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
