Job Summary

This position will be responsible for providing leadership and supporting the development and implementation of environmental, health & safety compliance programs for the Fairless and Garrison plants.

Job Description

Will be responsible for providing leadership and supporting the development and implementation of environmental, health & safety compliance programs for their plant.

路Analyze, prepare, and submit all environmental reports and prepare, plan, and submit all regulatory compliance notifications.

路Manages recordkeeping and programs required for EHS regulatory compliance.

路Manages injury and near miss incidents including injury and illness reporting to the company and investigations and learnings.

路Ensures plant employees are properly trained on permits and all company EHS procedures and policies.

路Maintains awareness of safe working conditions and practices safe work habits in all activities.

路Educates and promotes safe work practices and programs.

路Interacts with external agencies as representative of the plant and the company.

Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:

路Minimum of 6 years of experience working with and providing oversight of environmental and safety compliance at power plants or other industrial locations.

路Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills.

路Familiarity with EPA, state and Federal OSHA or MSHA regulations

路Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple activities at one time.

路Strong interpersonal and excellent written and oral communication skills, including procedures development and implementation.

路Experience with delivering communications and training related to EHS compliance, corrective actions, lessons learned, etc.

-Experience with OSHA VPP program management

-Preferred experience with Learning Management System

-Preferred experience with Maximo, CMMS system, used for EHS reporting

Key Metrics:

路Strong skillset in resolving technical issues, to ensure EHS compliance

路Proven project management skills.

路Maintains relationships with regulatory agencies, serving as the primary plant liaison
