Inside Industrial Sales Representative
The Inside Sales Representative supports customers, the production teams, and the sales organization by managing inquiries, preparing quotes, and coordinating order details for industrial and manufactured products. This role requires strong communication skills, technical curiosity, and the ability to work closely with operations to ensure accurate lead times, pricing, and product specifications.
What You’ll Do:
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding pricing, lead times, product specifications, and order status.
- Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and order confirmations for manufactured parts.
- Interpret basic technical information such as part numbers, drawings, tolerances, or material requirements.Â
- Enter and maintain customer data, orders, and pricing in the CRM system, Microsoft Business Central 365.
- Communicate delays, changes, or issues to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct outbound calls to new and existing customers to follow up on quotes, identify new opportunities, and strengthen relationships.
- Maintain a strong understanding of company products, capabilities, and manufacturing processes.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–5 years of inside sales experience.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to read or learn to read basic technical documents (blueprints, specs, part lists).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Business Central 365 a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and managing multiple priorities.
- Experience in metal fabrication, machining, industrial distribution, or similar a plus.
