Sonic Summary

This position requires a Monday to Friday day shift, working 8 hours between 7am and 5pm.
The role involves performing various duties in the operative treatment of surgical patients under the direction of a surgeon.
Candidates must have experience in assessing patients preoperatively and developing nursing care plans based on their assessments.
The position also includes assisting with patient positioning, skin preparation, and the use of surgical instruments.
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required, and the salary for this position is competitive based on experience.

Monday - Friday day shift hour

8 hours between 7am - 5pm

General Summary

Performs a variety of duties in the operative treatment of surgical patients. Intraoperatively, practices at the direction of the surgeon and does not concurrently function as a scrub nurse. Assesses the patient preoperatively and develops a nursing care plan based on assessment. Assists in positioning, skin preparation and draping of the patient. Uses surgical instruments skillfully in ways consistent with their design and purpose. Evaluates the patient postoperatively and participates in discharge planning. Performs other medical services as required.
