Job Description:

The Reliability Engineering Lead will serve as an implementation leader for the roll-out of Mars Supply Excellence (MSE) PM Pillar and Royal Canin standard processes at the Lewisburg OH site.

This individual will serve as a change agent to coach and train the factory management teams in the effective deployment of key PM pillar strategies and processes. The Reliability Engineering Lead will create and execute a 3-year roadmap to accelerate the deployment of PM pillar and start-up of the Royal Canin Lewisburg Ohio site.

This position will report into the Global Engineering team.

What are we looking for?

Minimum

  • 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing, supply chain environment
  • 3+ years of experience working with and understanding TPM principles and methods (specifically, PM, and AM)
  • 3+ years prior experience as a mentor, coach, team lead, supervisor or manager
  • Proven experience as a trainer
  • RCA, FMEA, complex problem-solving experience
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as needed

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Technical Degree

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Engage maintenance leaders in meaningful reviews of KPIs to determine appropriate responses to close gaps
  • Coach and train Essential Element owners on implementation and gap closure, to the MSE standard
  • Lead the creation of standard PM plans on RC standard assets, utilizing the site technical resources
  • Daily coaching at FMOS and maintenance meetings
  • Implement and coach CMMS best practices
  • Lead the implementation of the Lubrication Management program
  • Collaborating with the site MSE lead to support the implementation of AM, through the PM pillar
  • Actively participate in regional connections to share best practices and learn from others
  • Lead cross functional teams through complex technical problem-solving sessions to drive to root cause and build capability
  • Build and maintain a 3-year road map for PM pillar transformation
  • Coach team on Predictive Maintenance implementation and management processes
