Job Summary:

Machine Operators work on machines in the various departments within the production line. Β Operators can produce quality products safely and efficiently. Individuals who are placed in a Machine Operator position must be able to learn the sounds and mechanics of the machine as well as any possible malfunctions that may occur during the operating processes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Understand the operation of the equipment used to assemble all the components required to make ammunition (casings, gunpowder, and lead bullet)
  • Maintains a correct record-keeping system to ensure production efficiency meets company standards
  • Understands the functions and processes for efficient operations.
  • Performs start-up procedure for equipment
  • Completes all duties and responsibilities following company safety and environmental policies.Β 
  • Communicate with machine technicians to determine needs.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work area.
  • Performs other duties as directed.

Specifications/Qualifications:

  • Experience – None, willing to train
  • Education – High School diploma or equivalent
  • Responsibilities – Daily tasks as required
  • Supervision received – Direct oversight by Shift Supervisor
  • Working conditions – Extreme noise, heat, cold, dust, dirt and oil.
  • Mental and physical demands– Standing, lifting, carrying, speaking, listening, motor coordination skills
  • Confidential data – Access to intellectual property which must remain confidential and cannot be reproduced.
  • Travel requirements – None


Average hours per work day:Β 12 hrs/day

You must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening and a background check to prove the absence of felonies.Β
