We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to support our attorneys in managing complex litigation matters. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment, enjoys problem-solving, and has a passion for delivering exceptional support throughout all phases of the litigation process.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys on challenging and meaningful cases while developing expertise in litigation support, case management, and trial preparation.

What You'll Do

As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a vital role in helping our legal team effectively manage cases from inception through trial. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with attorneys, clients, experts, and other professionals to organize case files and coordinate assignments.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and discovery responses.
  • Manage and maintain physical and electronic case files, ensuring all documents are accurately organized and readily accessible.
  • Organize exhibits, deposition materials, court filings, and other case-related documentation.
  • Support trial and hearing preparation by creating trial binders, preparing exhibits, coordinating logistics, and attending proceedings when needed.
  • Track and manage critical deadlines through case calendars and docketing systems.
  • Verify the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of legal documents and filings.
  • Assist attorneys with legal research, case administration, and special projects as assigned.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the litigation team through proactive case management and administrative support.

What We're Looking For

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professionalism, discretion, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat, document management, scanning, and file organization tools.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and legal software platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered.
  • Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program is a plus.
  • Experience with legal case management systems and electronic court filing systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with Filevine or similar case management software is a plus.
  • Experience in personal injury, medical malpractice, or other complex litigation matters is highly desirable.
