GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Under general supervision, distributes either production or non-production items and materials to various locations throughout the plant. Materials may consist of purchased parts, in-process parts, or finished golf cars and utility vehicles.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare golf carts and utility vehicles for shipment on various types of transportation equipment, including dry van trailers, ocean containers, reefers, and prep-capable trailers. This involves cleaning and some disassembly of vehicles as required.
• Ensure transportation equipment is clean and ramps are fully operational before shipment.
• Construct trailer decking for outbound shipments.
• Transport vehicles and parts to loading staging lanes.
• Complete loading inspections to ensure all products are loaded with good quality. Ensure work areas and other designated work areas are maintained in a safe and neat manner.
• Load vehicles and accessories according to the specified load sheet.
• Package parts for international and domestic shipments.
• Upload photos and load audit sheets to the loading database.
• Performs other related duties as required.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains a safe and productive work environment by ensuring the work area is clear of tools, brooms, debris, and other items that may present a hazard.
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
• Must be able to work overtime as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Education:

• High School Diploma/Equivalent required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to read and write in English.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Requires occasional lifting of objects of objects 25 to 50 pounds.
• This job requires working both indoors and outdoors and being exposed to various weather conditions.
• Work requires periodic stooping/bending and frequent walking/standing.
• Work involves activities that require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, or vehicles.
