Metal Roofing Technician

The Position

We are looking for a teammate who:

Can fill the role of Metal Roofing Technician to perform installation for customers in Maine. We’re seeking hard-working individuals to join the IRC family and help exceed customer expectations through stellar work ethic, knowledge, and excellent communication. This teammate will do the following:

• Report directly to Foreman.
• Erect staging and ladders to gain access to roofs.
• Install metal roofing & siding systems per details.
• Operate various motorized machines.
• Skilled in the use of various hand tools used in roofing and sheet metal trade.
• Capable of lifting and carrying heavy loads.

Competitive Pay: $20–30 per hour

Requirements and Qualifications

• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to work flexible schedules.
• Strong listening skills to effectively communicate with coworkers and clients.
• Results-oriented, with a focus on organization, detail, and accuracy.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and safely move equipment on-site.
• Comfort with climbing ladders and working confidently at heights.
• Proficiency with power and hand tools.
• Willingness to occasionally travel overnight.
