TITLE: Packer C

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Pack in a safe, efficient manner while maintaining the highest quality possible.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Legal eligibility to work in the US.
  • Previous work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred with knowledge of production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing our return on investment.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels of personnel
  • Proficiency in reading and writing English.
  • Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude for machines used in the production process.
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complies with all written and verbal safety rules of the plant and department. Must be willing and able to wear all personal protective equipment.
  • Understand and adhere to plant policies and procedures, encompassing good manufacturing policy, hazard analysis, and critical control points processes.
  • Must be able to read and understand job docket to ensure that the correct materials are being used
  • Startup, shutdown and make machine adjustments
  • Inspect final product using quality checks, ensuring proper documentation and timely communication of any issues.
  • Demonstrate the capability to maintain pace with the production process and achieve daily production targets while also ensuring cleanliness in the designated area.
  • Other duties as assigned
