Main responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee daily front‑end operations to ensure fast, friendly, and accurate customer checkout experiences.
- Champion customer service programs and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Supervise, train, schedule, and support front‑end associates, including clerks, bookkeepers, and supervisory staff.
- Manage cash handling processes, including tills, safe transactions, refunds, check approvals, and reconciliation reports.
- Monitor staffing levels, customer traffic flow, and service standards to maintain operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and front‑end operating procedures.
- Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and disciplinary recommendations.
- Manage labor budgets, cash variance controls, supply costs, and department performance goals.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional front‑end environment that reflects a positive store image.

Abilities:Â
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and move quickly in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to lift and maneuver items weighing up to approximately 55 lbs
- Ability to supervise and direct multiple employees simultaneously
- Ability to analyze situations and make sound operational decisions
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot front‑end equipment and computer systems
- Ability to maintain focus and accuracy in a safety‑sensitive role

Pay Transparency:
Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Candidates with unique qualifications may be considered for compensation above this range. Dependent on length of service, hours worked, any applicable collective bargaining agreement and/or Company policy, benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay*, PTO/Vacation pay*, paid holidays*, bereavement pay and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401(k) eligibility).
