POSITION SUMMARY:

The Fulfillment Team Lead assists the Fulfillment Supervisor in overseeing the day-to-day operations in fulfillment area.  This position is responsible for coordinating daily activities, training and motivating team members, ensuring safety and quality standards, and maintaining operational efficiency. The Fulfillment Team Lead also acts as a hands-on leader, stepping in to perform tasks when needed to support team performance and meet customer demands.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and coordinate the daily activities of team members across distribution and small pack areas.
  • Motivate, coach, and train employees on operational procedures, safety, and quality standards.
  • Oversee packing, staging, and preparation of product shipments to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Ensure all fulfillment activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor and verify accurate systematic transactions.
  • Resolve discrepancies related to pick lists, pack lists, picked product, and cycle counts.
  • Crosstrain team members to ensure flexibility and coverage.
  • Operate and perform preventative maintenance on warehouse vehicles and small pack equipment.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by enforcing proper housekeeping and safety procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Contributes to team effort by supporting related tasks and special projects as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position does not have direct reports.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with inventory software, databases, and warehouse management systems.
  • Forklift driving experience; certification preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work well independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proven reliability, initiative, energy, and effective time management.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and meet competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent certification required.
  • Minimum of (1) year of warehouse or fulfillment lead experience
  • Must have English language proficiency.

OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a valid driver's license and/or ID
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to bend, and walk and climb stairs.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items or packages (typically up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds)
  • Varying work schedules to meet client demand is sometimes required
  • Must be able to work in hot and cold climates
