The Fuel Station Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Fuel Station, ensuring exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, safety compliance, inventory control, and team development. This position provides leadership to Fuel Station associates while maintaining a safe, clean, and profitable operation that meets company standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Sales- Deliver exceptional customer service and promote a customer-first culture.
- Assist customers with fuel purchases, convenience items, and general inquiries.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly, professionally, and effectively.
- Support fuel and merchandise sales goals through effective execution of promotional programs.
- Ensure a clean, welcoming, and customer-friendly environment at all times.
- Oversee daily Fuel Station operations, including fuel sales, convenience merchandise, cash handling, and site maintenance.
- Monitor fuel inventory levels and coordinate deliveries as needed.
- Ensure proper operation of fuel dispensers, point-of-sale systems, and related equipment.
- Conduct daily inspections of the Fuel Station and immediately address operational issues.
- Maintain accurate records related to fuel inventory, sales, deliveries, and operational activities.
- Ensure the station remains clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout operating hours.
- Supervise, train, coach, and develop Fuel Station associates.
- Assign daily work responsibilities and monitor performance.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and excellent customer service standards.
- Assist with onboarding and training new associates.
- Support scheduling and labor management efforts.
- Provide leadership coverage during opening, closing, and assigned shifts.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, environmental regulations, fuel handling requirements, and safety standards.
- Monitor and enforce proper procedures related to hazardous materials and fuel dispensing operations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address identified concerns.
- Ensure associates are trained in emergency response procedures.
- Maintain required documentation and regulatory records.
- Support accident prevention and loss prevention initiatives.
- Assist with fuel inventory management and reconciliation processes.
- Oversee convenience merchandise inventory, stocking, and replenishment.
- Monitor and control shrink through proper inventory procedures.
- Ensure accurate cash handling, register accountability, and deposit procedures.
- Investigate inventory and cash variances as directed.
- Ensure merchandise displays are clean, stocked, and properly signed.
- Execute promotional programs and seasonal merchandising initiatives.
- Monitor facility appearance, including fuel pumps, canopies, parking areas, and customer service areas.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and report equipment issues promptly.
- Support efforts to maximize sales and operational performance.
