Position Overview

Regent Restoration is seeking a reliable, physically capable, and team-oriented Furniture & Contents Moving Team Lead to support and help supervise daily operations within our contents division. This role focuses on safely moving, loading, transporting, and organizing household items after they have been professionally packed, typically in response to restoration projects involving water, fire, or storm damage.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to handling clients’ belongings with care and professionalism while also providing leadership, direction, and support to moving crew members. This position serves as a working lead, assisting with field operations while helping coordinate crews, maintain safety standards, and ensure projects are completed efficiently and professionally.

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Full-time position

  • Work may take place in residential homes, storage facilities, and active restoration job sites

  • Schedule may include weekdays, overtime, and occasional weekends depending on project needs

  • Physically demanding role requiring standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods

  • Regular use of moving equipment such as dollies, straps, padding, and lift-assist devices

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise Contents Moving Team Members during daily operations

  • Assist moving crews with the safe removal, loading, transport, and placement of furniture, boxes, and household items

  • Coordinate daily tasks with the packing and restoration teams to support efficient job completion

  • Monitor crew productivity, safety practices, and quality standards while working alongside the team

  • Ensure trucks are loaded and unloaded in an organized, secure, and damage-free manner

  • Assist with inventory checks and documentation to confirm all packed items are accounted for

  • Train and mentor new team members on proper lifting techniques, equipment use, customer service expectations, and company procedures

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of trucks, storage areas, and job sites

  • Identify and communicate job-site concerns, delays, damages, or safety issues to management promptly

  • Provide respectful, professional, and customer-focused service while representing the company on-site

  • Follow and help enforce all company safety policies, procedures, and operational standards

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (50–100 lbs) repeatedly throughout the workday

  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential

  • Demonstrated ability to lead by example in a team-oriented environment

  • Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Previous moving, warehouse, restoration, or labor experience required; lead or supervisory experience is strongly preferred

  • Ability to train, motivate, and support crew members in a fast-paced environment

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

  • Basic English communication skills required; bilingual is a plus
