Spalding, a Saalex Company is seeking a Journeyman Computer Systems Analyst in Lexington Park, MD.  Saalex is a professional services company delivering cutting-edge solutions to the Department of War. Our expert-level solutions include software development, information technology, program management, financial management and business intelligence services. 

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $110k-$145k annually (depending upon experience)

Work Location: Hybrid remote/in-office (see onsite requirements below).

**On-Site Requirements: Candidate must be able to come onsite to NAS Pax River once every two weeks to maintain account accesses, and are required to come onsite as needed to support deployments, data migrations, and other system maintenance as needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Administer and support a government AWS-hosted Siemens Teamcenter environment.
  • Support installation, maintenance, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management of Teamcenter and associated applications.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain integrations between Teamcenter and third-party engineering, logistics, and business systems.
  • Perform system administration activities on Windows and Linux servers supporting Teamcenter and related applications.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and resource utilization; identify and resolve performance issues.
  • Analyze application, system, and network logs to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Support software deployments, upgrades, migrations, and configuration changes.
  • Manage user access, permissions, and account administration activities.
  • Coordinate with government customers, engineers, developers, and system administrators to resolve technical issues and implement system enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, system procedures, configuration documentation, and knowledge-base articles.
  • Participate in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution of complex system and application issues.
  • Provide customer support and technical guidance to end users and stakeholders.
  • Attend and actively participate in customer and team collaboration meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Required:

  • Five (3) or more years of experience supporting Logistics IT systems, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, engineering support systems, or enterprise IT environments.
  • Experience administering, maintaining, or supporting enterprise applications in Windows and/or Linux environments.
  • Experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and troubleshooting software applications and system components.
  • Experience supporting system migrations, deployments, software updates, and technical implementations.
  • Ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and identify root causes.
  • Strong understanding of systems administration principles and enterprise application support.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desired:

  • Experience supporting Siemens Teamcenter or other Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platforms.
  • Experience supporting Naval Aviation logistics systems and related applications, including OOMA, AvPLM, Aircraft Inventory Readiness Reporting System (AIRRS), Technical Directives, DECKPLATE, or similar systems.
  • CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or other relevant IT certification.
  • Experience supporting AWS-hosted applications and cloud-based environments.

Security Clearance:

Active Secret or Top Secret clearance required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Education:

Associate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline and five (5) years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years of relevant experience; OR Highschool and directly related experience totaling eight (8) years.
