Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Cath Lab Resource RN, you will deliver high-quality, specialized nursing care to patients across varying age groups within the Cath Lab and other departments as needed, utilizing the nursing process and upholding rigorous nursing practice standards.Every day you will provide direct nursing care, applying your scientific knowledge to meet diverse patient needs within the Cath Lab environment. You will also float to different departments within the facility where there is a business need, adapting your skills to support patient care requirements across various units.To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate versatile nursing competency, a deep understanding of scientific principles relevant to patient care, and a flexible approach to support different departments while maintaining exceptional standards of practice.

  • Conducts care assessments and interprets assessment data to determine care needs and constraints in meeting these needs.
  • Successfully completes system-based and hospital specific competencies.
  • Maintains accurate documentation of observations, treatments, teaching, medications, care given, patient response, and integrates into plan of care.
  • In collaboration with patients and families (as defined by the patient) the Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating, planning, directing and administering care to the patient. Implements a plan of care based upon established standards of care/practice, policies, and procedures, incorporating cultural, religious, psychosocial, physical, and age-related issues.
  • Possesses knowledge of medications, and administers safely and accurately.
  • Appropriately delegates and supervises routine technical functions to non-licensed and licensed personnel.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Other Graduation from an accredited/approved school of nursing and Minimum one year of experience as an RN in an acute care facility, upon hire
  • Registered Nurse: KY, upon hire and
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days
