EVS Training Supervisor 

Full-Time, Day Shift  

Environmental Services 

The Environmental Services Department plays a vital role in ensuring that the hospital remains clean and safe for patients, staff, and visitors. As a member of this team, the main duties will be to clean and sanitize all areas of the hospital including patient rooms, offices, waiting areas, and meeting rooms. 

Environmental Services (EVS) Training Supervisor leads the onboarding, training, and development of EVS team members while ensuring compliance with organizational, OSHA, and regulatory standards. This role oversees training records, supports staff engagement and retention initiatives, develops departmental policies and procedures, and contributes to quality improvement and patient experience initiatives as a member of the EVS leadership team. 

Job Description: 

• Lead onboarding and training for all EVS team members.  

• Coordinate education programs and maintain training records.  

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, accreditation, and EVS standards.  

• Evaluate competencies and provide coaching for staff development.  

• Develop training materials and support quality improvement initiatives.  

• Partner with HR and EVS leadership to promote employee engagement, safety, and excellent patient service.  

• Provide operational support and perform other duties as assigned. 

Requirements  

•  High School/Ged 

• 1 Year of Experience 

• 1-2 years of Customer Services and/or 1-2 years of Environmental Services​

Preferred Experiences: 

• Sterile Field Training, education background, restorative floor care experience preferred.
