Dinsmore is seeking a Practice Support Specialist at our Lexington, KY location who will support multiple attorneys in the litigation group.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Assist with entry of attorneys’ time
  • Manage docketing events, deadlines, scheduling orders, meetings and conference calls
  • Assist with client intake
  • Open and maintain client files
  • Provide clerical support to attorneys, paralegals and legal administrative assistants including backup overflow assistance
  • Assist with monthly billing
  • Project work, as assigned

 

Requirements

 

  • Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading skills, and meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent word processing skills and intermediate-level use of Microsoft Office Suite, .pdf editing software, and related legal software, including electronic document management systems
  • Law firm and/or litigation experience, a plus
  • Experience using attorney timekeeping and document management systems a plus
  • Familiarity with basic online resources
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proven success as a positive team player, as well as an independent worker
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
