Personal Care Associate (PCA)
Concierge Home Care | Private Pay Clients
Position Overview
Personal Care Associates are assigned to specific clients, work predictable schedules, and play a key role in maintaining stability and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Client Care & Presence
Serve as a consistent, trusted professional in the client’s home
Build rapport while maintaining clear professional boundaries
Observe and report changes in routine, mobility, or condition
Support client dignity, comfort, and independence at all times
Personal & Daily Support
Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed
Support safe mobility and transfers (training provided)
Prepare light meals aligned with client preferences
Provide companionship and structured engagement
Home Support
Light home support related to client use (laundry, dishes, tidying)
Maintain a safe, organized, and calm living environment
Support accessibility and fall-prevention practices
Life Support & Errands
Accompany clients to appointments, activities, or outings
Complete errands that support daily living (pharmacy, groceries)
Assist with routine transitions (post-hospital, schedule changes)
Communication & Documentation
Complete clear shift notes focused on observations, not just tasks
Communicate professionally with care leadership and families
Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.

Qualifications
Required
5+ year care giving, home support, or related experience
(or equivalent life experience with strong references)Reliable transportation
Ability to pass background screening
Excellent communication skills
Preferred
Private-pay home care experience
CNA or related credential (not required)
Experience supporting older adults in home settings
Schedule & Work Structure
Assigned clients (not rotating shift coverage)
Predictable weekly schedules
Shifts typically range from 4–12 hours
Limited client load to support quality care
