What You’ll Do
As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll assist Pharmacists in delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate pharmaceutical care by:
- Greeting patients with warmth and respect at drop-off and pick-up
- Accurately preparing, filling, and labeling prescriptions (new, refill, and e-scribed)
- Supporting programs such as 340B and Homeless Assistance to ensure affordability
- Entering prescription and insurance data with attention to detail
- Communicating with providers, insurers, and internal care teams
- Managing inventory, restocking supplies, and monitoring expiration dates
- Answering phones promptly and courteously
- Helping maintain a clean, organized, patient-ready pharmacy

What We Are Looking For
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Requires high school diploma and experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (Required)
- Must become registered with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Pharmacy Technician registration by the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy. Must maintain Pharmacy Technician registration and/or certification through the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy.
