Provide full-time administrative and continuous quality improvement (CQI) support to the Quality Assurance Unit of the Children’s Review Program, handling day-to-day operations and data management in an office setting to ensure program goals and objectives are met. The Quality Assurance Specialist is a positive team player that promotes a culture of inclusion and participation.

Funded fully with Federal and Cabinet for Health and Family Services funds

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or closely related field and one year of combined experience with data entry, data verification, or data-related research

OR

  • High school diploma or equivalent and two years of combined experience with data entry, data verification, or data-related research
  • One year of experience with Microsoft Office programs
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable operating transportation, and proof of current auto insurance

Preferred Education and Experience

  • One or more years of administrative support or customer service experience
  • Excellent telephone, time management, and organizational skills
  • Experience with data management software (e.g., SQL, Power BI)

Essential Functions

  • Accurate and timely processing of incoming information and data (e.g., completing the census of Cabinet-committed youth in psychiatric hospitals; reconciling DCBS and PCC youth census reports)
  • Accurately maintaining and updating agency, provider, and child-related data (e.g., child placement and foster parent records) 
  • Contacting provider agencies for data validation purposes
  • Facilitating user access to the CRP web application
  • Scheduling, attending, and documenting discussion/content of various CQI-related meetings (e.g., Quality Outcomes for Children Council meetings)
  • Responding to inquiries in a timely, professional, and courteous manner
  • Other duties as assigned, including providing support to other CRP units as needed
