Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Employee to join our manufacturing team. This role combines assembly and quality inspection, ensuring products are assembled correctly and meet company and customer quality standards before shipment.

The ideal candidate has experience in assembly, mechanical assembly, manufacturing, production, or quality inspection. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with reading blueprints and takes pride in building and inspecting high-quality products.

Essential Responsibilities: 

• Perform detailed quality inspections on powder-coated parts and finished assemblies 
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and product specifications 
• Verify dimensions and product accuracy using precision measuring tools
• Inspect assembled products for proper fit, function, and overall quality before shipment
• Approve or reject products based on inspection results, tolerances, and quality control standards 
• Identify, document, and report defects, nonconforming materials, and quality issues to production and leadership teams 
• Collaborate with production, operations, and leadership teams to improve workflow efficiency and product quality 
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment 
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Experience in assembly, manufacturing, production, quality control, or quality inspection 
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly instructions
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment
• Ability to complete inspection reports and product documentation accurately 
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Physical Demands:

• Lift, carry, push, and/or pull 1-50 lbs. frequently
• Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently
• Sit, stand, and walk for 1-10 hours per day
• Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, eye protection, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing
