Description

S&S Tire, a leading multi-location regional wholesale tire dealer, is seeking to add an experienced Transfer Driver to the team. This position requires recent DOT driving experience. If you have solid driving/delivery experience, we'd like to chat!

Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to:

Delivering tires to our Knoxville, TN warehouse - safely operating 16' to 28' box trucks
Pulling and loading tires
Use of a handheld device to write up inventory
Assisting in the warehouse after daily deliveries are completed, when necessary

We Offer:

Compensation starting at $17.50 per hour, based on experience
Full-time position with weekly pay, offering frequent overtime
Schedule: Monday through Friday, with 3:30 p.m. start time

Requirements

Must be able to lift and/or move tires with or without mechanical assistance
Frequent bending, twisting and lifting
Must be willing, and have the ability to, to operate all warehouse related equipment
Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience and 23 years of age
Good vehicle safety record (no more than 3 violations in the last 3 years)
Valid driver's license - in good standing
Forklift license is a plus
