Job Title:  Warehouse Lead
Department: Warehouse Supervision and Packout 
FLSA Status: Non Exempt 

 Summary: Plans, organizes, prioritized, and supervises the receiving, storage and picking of all warehouse stock and all Depot/Amazon deliveries. 
  
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: 

  • Oversees transfers of products and/or merchandise to and from the warehouse 
  • Assist with the approving of absences, to include managing vacation schedules.  Makes overtime recommendations, and may approve overtime in emergency situations. 
  • Provide oversight and direction to personnel who may be working in the warehouse in performance of warehouse duties. 
  • Enforces warehouse and distribution standards and procedure.
  • Trains personnel in safe and compliant operating procedures and practices to include warehouse lifting and moving equipment operation. 
  • Responsible for receiving products and merchandise, checking for quality and    damages to items, and the proper storage of the delivered products and merchandise 
  • Responsible for operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. 
  • Perform physical inventory as needed 
  • Processes requests for supplies, prepares merchandise for delivery, and prepares packages for shipping according to established procedures 
  • Ensures security of company assets 
  • Performs the job safely while adhering to company safety standards. 
  • Picks product to company standards for all Breakroom Services. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 
     

Supervisory Responsibilities: No 
 

Education and/or Experience:  High School diploma or equivalency is required.  Warehouse experience preferred. 
 

Mental and Physical Demands:  The mental and physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

  • Standing for long periods of time. 
  • Frequent bending or reaching for objects overhead – may require use of step stool, ladder, or cleaning equipment. 
  • Working with moving mechanical parts and sharp objects. 
  • Lifting of objects up to 50 pounds. 
  • Working around heat and steam for short periods of time.  
  • Working around extreme cold for short periods of time. 
  • Working in a moderately noisy environment.  
  • Working with frequent interruptions and distractions. 
  • Ability to work as a team member
