Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:  

The Department of Occupational Therapy is seeking applicants for adjunct faculty positions. Adjunct faculty teach a variety of classes in undergraduate pre-OT coursework and co-teach with full-time faculty in the graduate MSOT program. Applicants should indicate their educational background and clinical expertise, as well as their availability and ability to teach online or in a hybrid format.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Master’s degree in occupational therapy

  • Clinical experience as a registered and licensed occupational therapist

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Willingness to learn classroom technology to support student learning

  • Experience and ability to positively interact with all members of the campus community

  • Ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodations.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Duties are generally performed inside a classroom environment, with occasional requirements to engage in administrative tasks outside the classroom. Some weeknights and weekends may be required depending on the course schedule and student needs.

  • Scheduled weekly hours vary depending on class contract load. Adjunct Faculty are hired each semester on an as-needed basis.
