CNC Setup Machinist

Production Saw & Machine specializes in innovative manufacturing solutions through personal attention to customer cutting and machining needs. We produce high and low-volume precision CNC machined parts for automotive suppliers, military, industrial equipment, agricultural, and heavy truck industries. POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced CNC Setup Machinist to join our Short Run team.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a minimum of 3 years of CNC setup experience
• Be proficient in job set-up- from initial stages to machining jaws/work holding, tool setup, and programming
• Be confident in interpreting blueprints
• Be knowledge and have experience on Lathe, Mills, and Machining Center setups

• Setting up jobs from start to finish
• Communicating with Quality and Engineering to ensure efficient and proper runs
• Operating CNC machines between setup tasks
• Meeting or exceeding efficiency and production rate requirements
• Maintaining the mechanical integrity of the machine through maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
• Collecting and documenting data
