Job DetailsJob Location: Liberty 12 - Liberty, MO 64068JOB OVERVIEW   As a Maintenance Tech, you oversee keeping the facilities maintained and out of disrepair. Equipment and building material should look and function at their best and to keep a safe and inviting environment for employees and guests in all aspects of the entertainment and theatre complex.   Hours: 40+ hours a week, working nights, weekends and holidays is a requirement; hours may vary.  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Conduct regular inspections to determine areas that need attention and then perform the tasks.   Safely erect, inspect, utilize, and dismantle scaffolding, staging, or high-reach platforms for high-ceiling fixture repairs, high-wall paint touch-ups, and building maintenance inside and outside cinema locations. Perform mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic troubleshooting, calibration, and routine preventative maintenance on motion-enhanced cinema seating (4DX, MX4D, recliners), bowling pinsetters, and arcade equipment. Responsibility for maintaining and repairing all our bowling lanes, pinsetters, and other entertainment amenities etc.    Repairs and maintenance of the building which could be anything from fixing a broken recliner to patching and painting a wall.    Run errands as needed for the company.  Travel beyond 150 miles one-way will require overnight stay.     General cleaning of facilities. Completing any other duties as delegated or directed by your supervisor.  MINIMUM PERFORMANCE STANDARDS  B&B Theatres wants to ensure you have everything you need to thrive. To stay on track and maintain your position, please keep these core requirements in mind:  Your First 120 Days: Focus on perfect attendance during your first 60 days. In the following 60 days, we’ll work with you to master our internal ticketing system and steadily increase your output from 13 to 15 closed tickets per week.  The Standard: Once you’re up to speed, maintaining that 15-ticket weekly average is essential for the team’s success.  Support & Accountability: If your average dips below 15, we’ll immediately start a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP). This is a dedicated coaching period designed to help you get back to the minimum standard.  Please understand that these goals are vital. Refusing to participate in a PIP or falling below standard twice within 60 days of completing one, may lead to disciplinary action or termination.  SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 4+ years of prior experience in general building maintenance, commercial repairs, automotive work, or mechanical equipment servicing. Comfortable working at elevated heights on ladders, scaffolding, and high-reach platforms. Must have experience with high-reach scaffolding/staging erection. Specific hands-on experience with bowling pinsetter systems, arcade machine maintenance, and/or theater seating systems. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be at least 18 years old at the time of hiring.   Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly to fulfill job responsibilities. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.   Must maintain personal automobile liability insurance in accordance with applicable state minimum requirements and be able to use a personal vehicle for business related travel as required.   KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES  Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with moving mechanical parts and hand/power tools. Proficiency or comfort using digital devices (tablets/smartphones) to record entries in an internal ticketing system. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods; climb ladders or stairs; and balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl into tight spaces (such as behind bowling pinsetters or under theatre seating).  Frequent use of hands and power tools to handle, feel, or reach. Precision is required for mechanical repairs and internal ticketing system entries.  Must be able to frequently move and transport equipment or supplies weighing up to 35 lbs. and occasionally assist in heavier items exceeding 50 lbs.  Ability to work in varied environments, which may include loud noise levels (bowling/theatre audio), dusty areas, or outdoor weather conditions during building exterior inspections.
