We’re looking for a working Team Lead to assist in running day-to-day production lines. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for executing the production schedule, coordinating resources (machines, tools, materials, and people), and resolving issues on the floor to protect safety, quality, and delivery. You will lead a team of Production Associates, and support frontline supervision activities

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute to the production schedule by prioritizing work, maintaining flow, and ensuring the right jobs run in the right order.
  • Plan and manage resources for your area: machines, tools, materials, and staffing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve safety, quality, equipment, material, and staffing issues.
  • Escalate constraints when needed (downtime, shortages, quality holds, staffing gaps) with clear impact and support needed.
  • Provide day-to-day direction: task assignments, line balance, rotations, coaching, and reinforcement of safe work practices.
  • Coordinate line readiness by reviewing priorities, verifying material availability, and supporting release of work to the floor.
  • Reinforce standard work, work instructions, and required documentation/traceability.
  • Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Materials, and Engineering to drive timely issue resolution and sustained improvements.
  • Train and mentor operators on standard work, key quality checks, and proper use of tools and equipment.
  • ADP timekeeping sign‑off (attendance and hours) and communicate staffing needs to the Production Manager.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED required (technical certificate/associate degree preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
  • 5+ years manufacturing experience; prior lead/coach experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of production flow, safety practices, quality checks, and basic problem-solving.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team.
  • Stellar attendance record.
