Physician - Orthopedic Surgeon - Hand & Upper Extremity

Liberty Hospital, now part of The University of Kansas Health System, is seeking an Orthopedic Hand & Upper Extremity Surgeon.   The department has been recognized in the top 50 Orthopedic programs in the United States by U.S. News & World Report for 2024-2025.

The ideal candidate will be committed to advancing our hand and upper extremity service line within the community setting, while collaborating with external departments and affiliated facilities to coordinate specialty-specific coverage. Candidates who are interested in optimizing site of service surgical planning, enhancing patient access, and treating the full spectrum of upper extremity conditions from routine to highly complex are strongly preferred.

Position Highlights:

  • Onsite Occupational Therapy within the clinic and Physical Therapy available through the Sports Medicine clinic
  • Convenient in-clinic access to X-ray imaging and durable medical equipment (DME) services

Required Qualifications:  

  • MD/DO  
  • Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Completed Hand & Upper Extremity or Shoulder & Elbow Fellowship
  • Licensed in Missouri and Kansas
