Housekeeper

Overview:

A private employer in Liberty, NY is seeking a Housekeeper to serve as a support system for the household, more specifically relating to general cleanliness and the maintenance indoors. This person would be responsible for a broad range of duties related to the day-to-day personal life and professional commitments.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Daily upkeep of both indoors and outdoors

· Cleaning, such as vacuuming, mopping, cleaning furnishings, floors, windows, and lavatories. 

· Change linens as needed

· Sort clothing and other articles

· Laundry- such as loading the washing machine, ironing, pressing, folding, etc.

· Light cooking if applicable

· Inventory as needed

· Exercise or feed pets as needed 

· Run errands as requested by the principals

· Any other responsibilities as assigned

Additional Skills/Competencies:

· Excellent organizational ability

· Ability to prioritize effectively

· Prior Housekeeping Experience preferred

· Knowledge of cleaning and care at a high-end capacity

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Trustworthy, principled, and friendly

· Ability to be a self-starter, and anticipate needs

· Responsible, timely, patient, and reliable

· Confidentiality and discretion at all times
