Job Title:                    Materials Operator

Department:               Materials

Reports To:                Shipping/Stores Supervisor

Shift/Schedule:         First Shift; Monday – Friday with occasional Saturdays

 

 

SUMMARY OF POSITION 

 

This position is responsible for the documentation and cross check movement of materials, using various tracking methods on computer and physical inventory.  Verifies quantities and condition of material received.  Pulls materials from inventory and verifies customer orders for shipment.

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/COMPETENCIES

 

  • Load and unload trucks
  • Recycle packaging materials
  • File work orders & shipment records
  • Move parts and materials to proper stock locations
  • Pull work orders for production
  • Process UPS/Fed-Ex Truck Shipments
  • Hazardous Material Handling
  • Handling ESD Components
  • Processing Outside Processing Orders
  • Responsible for Rosie

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

 

  • Licensed Fork-Lift Operator
  • Lift up to 40 – 50lbs. regularly
  • Working knowledge and understanding of MacPac / Shipping software programs
